The Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA), founded in 1931, provides programs and services supporting its mission to "change hearts in healthcare" with a current membership of over 19,000. They coordinate a network of Christian healthcare professionals for fellowship and professional growth through the following initiatives:
- Overseas medical education and evangelism projects
- Student ministries in medical, and dental schools
- Educational resources
- Marriage and family conferences
- Missionary healthcare professionals with continuing education resources
- Academic exchange programs overseas.
