Medical Missions Live - Coming Up in August!

"It Ain’t What You Don’t Know That Gets You Into Trouble.
It’s What You Know for Sure That Just Ain’t So."

                                                                                              Mark Twain
International medical missions are changing at an accelerating pace. For the last four months, we have been looking at the future of your ministry and we will continue that quest. However, we want to dig into more of the details of what Mark Twain might call – those things that we know for sure but that just ain’t so.
Medical Mission Live continues its all-star lineup in August with more highly respected mission leaders that you won’t want to miss.
On Tuesday, August 4th we are honored to have Dirk Anderson from Engineering Ministries International (EMI) join us. Dirk’s primary focus is international healthcare design and he leads the Design Studio of the U.S. office of EMI. Oftentimes we set out from the U.S. with great energy and ideas about how to help our brothers and sisters in developing countries. But what we may not realize is that to be effective, there are very specific things that must be designed into a healthcare facility from the start. To become competitive, high-quality ministries over the next 10 years, facilities must be built today with international standards.
Then on Tuesday, August 18th we will get together with Lisa Alianiello, the new Director of the MBF Center for Global Nursing Development. Lisa has over 30 years of high level, direct operational nursing experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner as well as a Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Most importantly she has extensive experience with international programs. Lisa Alianiello will be sharing all that is happening with the Center for Global Nursing Development, and the exciting initiatives with nursing practice and education in a number of countries.
Every week the interviews and insights get better than the week before. If you are part of a mission committee at your church or you have a personal interest in medical missions, you’ll benefit from the insight of where international missions are headed. However, the trends and changes aren’t just related to the medical arena. Everything in international missions is changing and you will appreciate the 30 quick minutes of information and perspective.

We look forward to having you participate in the growing conversation.

Blessings
