The World Communion Offering Supports Ending Gun Violence The World Communion Offering supports reconciliation efforts such as racial justice, gender justice, peacemaking, global witness, ecumenical and interfaith relations. One of the ministries that falls under this umbrella is the commitment by the PC(USA) to End Gun Violence. The PC(USA) urges congregations to take action of their own to end gun violence, such as promoting secure gun storage, taking part in the Guns to Gardens initiative, or praying for the emotional, mental, and spiritual health of children growing up in an era rife with gun violence.
