Homeless but Hopeful | ||
In December 2022, seven Christian families in a rural village in India were driven from their homes because they would not reconvert to Hinduism. They spent a month in the jungle, surviving on what they could find and praying for their persecutors. When they were finally allowed back in the village, they found that their homes had been looted. Even the most basic necessities had been taken. Through local Christian contacts, VOM was able to help these families recover, providing household goods and food supplies as they repaired their homes and rebuilt their lives. The group of Christians took comfort in Romans 8:31 — “If God is for us, who can be against us?” And they rejoiced in God’s provision for them through Christians like you.
