Our Christian brothers and sisters in India are facing increased opposition to their faith in Christ.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has advanced an ideology called Hindutva, or Hindu purity, that has resulted in the persecution of Christians. Essentially, this ideology is Hindu nationalism with the goal of creating a “pure” Hindu nation.

As a result, Christians in India are enduring threats and attacks by radical Hindus, false accusations in court, and intense scrutiny and interrogation by police.

But our brothers and sisters in Christ remain firm in faith, and we invite you to stand with them!

Your generous donation will help meet the needs of our persecuted Christian family members in India, encouraging them as they faithfully share the gospel at great cost. It will also help equip front-line workers with Bibles and ministry tools they need for discipleship and outreach efforts in India.

Your prayers and financial support will make a difference for people like Ravan.

As a young man, Ravan was recruited by a Hindu nationalist organization. He was swept up in the movement to make India a “pure” Hindu nation. Eliminating Christian witness from the country was one part of that agenda.

For seven years, Ravan enjoyed power, good pay and free alcohol as a hired hoodlum. But even as he carried out violent attacks, his mother, who had become a Christian, prayed fervently that her son would turn to Christ. “Ever since I was small, my mother used to pray for me,” Ravan said. “I used to tell her to pray quietly, and sometimes I would wear headphones to drown out the sound.”

“But you and I know that prayer is powerful and effective!”
—RAVAN

After years of persecuting Christians, Ravan became one of them — changed through the power of the gospel and his mother’s persistent prayers.

Today, Ravan is a church planter. He is especially targeted and remains in danger because of his past work.

“God gave me new life,” Ravan said, “so it doesn’t matter even if I die. I have an immense burden to somehow share the gospel with others.”

This is just one example of how God is changing lives in India. Your gift now will help continue advancement of the gospel and support persecuted Christians in India.

Thank you for standing with them!
