Coming Soon for Special Offerings As you gear up for fall and the kick-off of the program year, we wanted to make sure we share the latest from Special Offerings about the General Assembly-mandated updates beginning in 2026. |

Three Offerings- One Great Hour of Sharing — Offering season Feb. 18–April 5, 2026
- Traditionally received on Palm Sunday or Easter but can be received anytime during the Lenten season
- Causes supported: disaster, hunger, poverty, climate change, immigration, migration and refugees

- World Communion Offering — Offering season Sept. 6–Oct. 4, 2026
- Traditionally received on World Communion Sunday but can be received anytime during A Season of Preparation
- Causes supported: racial justice, gender justice, peacemaking, global witness, ecumenical and interfaith relations
- As part of this Offering, a grant program is being created that allows any council of the PC(USA) — session, presbytery or synod regardless of participation in the World Communion Offering — to apply for funds to support their own efforts to do ministry around these cause areas.

- Christmas Joy Offering — Offering season Nov. 29–Dec. 19, 2026
- Traditionally received on the fourth Sunday of Advent or Christmas Eve but can be received anytime during the Advent season
- Causes supported: children-at-risk, youth and young adults, leadership development for people of color, Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color, servants of the Church in need through the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions.

ExpectationsJust because we have a new look and feel doesn’t mean things won’t feel familiar. Special Offerings will still continue to provide the resources you need for a successful offering.- We will continue to have free digital resources available to download from our website.
- We will continue offering standing orders that include printed resources.
- The remittance process will remain unchanged. You will still remit your funds either through your normal receiving agency or mail checks to the P.O. Box.
- We will still stay in touch via email to help navigate these changes.
