The Voice of the Martyrs - Send hope to our persecuted family.

Girl reading the Bible
Your Gifts Bring Hope
When Christians are persecuted by their immediate family members, communities or governments for their faith in Christ, many feel forgotten and alone. And most are left with no means to sustain themselves or their children. Through your gifts, you can help our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters and let them know they are not forgotten by the body of Christ. When you help them in their time of need, you are entering into fellowship with members of our spiritual family.

  • Min Maya was raised as a Buddhist in Nepal. When she placed her faith in Christ, her mother opposed her decision and her brother beat her. She and her sister, also a Christian, decided they had to leave. Min Maya and her sister received vocational training so they can support themselves as tailors.
  • Gabriel and Noni were the only Christians in their Muslim-majority village in Indonesia. When a Muslim woman in the village died suddenly, they were blamed for her death and villagers burned their house. VOM helped the couple rebuild their home and open a motorcycle repair business in another village.
  • Vijay, in India, left Hinduism and placed his faith in Christ. He shared the gospel with his family and others in his village, eventually leading more than 30 Hindu families to Christ. A mob of Hindu extremists set his home on fire and killed several buffalo, goats and cows — his family’s livelihood. VOM purchased two buffalo and a goat to help his family begin to rebuild.
  • Moses Joseph’s father, a Christian, left for his farm in Nigeria one morning but never returned home. Many believe he was killed by Fulani Islamic militants who had attacked his community a few days earlier. Moses lost his mother to an illness a short time later. He and his two younger siblings are being cared for by extended family members, and VOM is providing additional support.

You can help bring hope to persecuted Christians like these in their time of great need.
