Dear Ministry Partner,
We are honored to have Dr. Dennis Palmer join us Tuesday, November 10th for Medical Missions Live. Dr. Palmer has worked in Cameroon for nearly 40 years and has lived there on a full-time basis for over 25 years. He is currently the Dean of the Baptist Institute of Health Sciences, Program Director for Christian Internal Medicine Specialization Program, and Clinical Supervisor of Mbingo Baptist Hospital in northwest Cameroon.
Dr. Palmer has been a leader in developing educational programs that train young African physicians to practice in the challenging medical environment found in hospitals in Sub-Saharan Africa. He developed and continues to lead the only Internal Medicine residency program located in a mission hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Dr. Palmer has also been instrumental in developing tools to assist practitioners in the management of common diseases, especially non-communicable diseases. His Handbook of Medicine is in its 5th edition and has sold close to 40,000 copies which have been distributed globally.
He understands extremely well the enormous changes mission hospitals will be facing as they are forced to address the transition from communicable diseases to non-communicable diseases in the next ten years. He understands where medicine in the region has been and is headed over the next 20 years.
This is a discussion you do not want to miss. Join us on Tuesday night, November 10, 2020, at 8 pm Eastern / 7 pm Central / 5 pm Pacific.
Please have your questions ready for us. We look forward to you connecting with us live via Zoom or on Facebook Live. If you choose to view with Zoom you will need to pay attention to both the login and the passcode included for you below.
